Our Collection
The library offers access to the New Ulm Art collection, German Heritage collection, and subscribes to numerous periodicals, databases, and electronic resources. By possessing a New Ulm Public Library card, our citizens are able to obtain any book in the state and have the opportunity to be a reciprocal library member at any library in the state through MNLink.
The library offers access to more than just books. It also loans:

- Presentation Equipment
- Puzzles
- Wi-Fi Hotspots
- Many other items through our Library of Things
Programming & Events
The library has a robust programming schedule for children, teens, and adults, and hosts:
- Author talks
- Book clubs for adults and teens
- Hands-on learning
- Special interest programs
- Storytimes
Technology
We have access to more than 10 computers for patrons and visitors to access a wealth of information and to use the Internet.
Memory Lab
The library offers access to a Memory Lab. It's a "do-it-yourself" digitization lab with equipment for digitizing video and audio and scanning photographs, documents, and slides in a public computing space. We offer digital preservation classes and training to the public.
